In-kind grants to USA, Canada, and International IHEs and K-12 schools for software licenses, support, and implementation services. Funding is intended to provide educational institutions with technological services and solutions that ensure data security. The purpose of the program is to serve the technology needs of institutions on a cybersecure campus.

Protect and Secure Student, Faculty and Staff Data: Security Operations Center In-Kind Grant

Campus Consortium is committed to supporting educational institutions by providing funds to reduce the cost of technology over the long term. It is the mission of the Consortium to help institutions use technology to achieve their strategic plans, modernize the student experience and make education more accessible and affordable for the communities served. Campus Consortium In-Kind grant programs are designed to provide awarded institutions with in-kind solutions and services that are powered by technology partners who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to serving the needs of campuses and have a track record of successful implementations.

The Campus Consortium has partnered with OculusITTM to provide the technology platform and services for the Protect and Secure Student, Faculty and Staff Data: Security Operations Center In-Kind Grant. The grant is designed to provide awarded institutions with the requisite licenses and services to a comprehensive SOC Service.

The grant offers the institutions an opportunity to avail a service that:

  • Hunts down cyber threat via an advanced 24*7 Monitoring
  • Simplifies process and focus on core student goals
  • Protects data and assets with certified regulatory compliance
  • Leverages the expertise of the best security term instead of starting from the scratch

Benefits:

The grant is the perfect IT solution for a cybersecure campus because it functions on the aggregation correlation principle. Recipients can correlate and analyze security event data from across their networks and respond to them. It also uses threat intelligence, behavioral analytics and predictive modelling using AI and machine learning. The advanced security support includes highly certified and trained security specialists for remediation of cyber threats.

Please note: Campus Consortium In-kind grants are offered only with specific EdTech vendor/partners. There is no cash award; instead Campus Consortium provides underwriting funds that are distributed to the chosen partner on the recipient institution’s behalf. Additionally most Campus Consortium In-kind grants do not eliminate the entire cost of the solution but they significantly reduce the cost of software and services. Most Campus Consortium In-kind grants require financial contribution from the awarded institution as a shared cost model to pay for the total cost of ownership of the selected solution.

Institutions are eligible to apply for multiple In-Kind grants. Separate applications are required for each In-Kind grant pursued.

If your institution has previously received a In-Kind grant award for other Campus Consortium In-Kind grants, your campus is still eligible to apply for this In-Kind grant.
