Middle Georgia Center for Academic Excellence, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to bring together persons who have an active interest in broadening accessibility to and success in postsecondary education. The Center accomplishes this purpose by securing grants that can provide technical assistance related to the Centers purpose, engaging in the specific and general coordination of efforts with other organizations and persons having purposes of or supportive with those of the Center, and gathering, evaluating, and disseminating information that may be of mutual benefit to both the Center and the community.

ESTABLISHED IN 2006, THE GWINNETT COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION FUND, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT 501(C)3 CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROVIDING FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO ENRICH AND ENHANCE EDUCATION IN GWINNETT COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS. THE MISSION OF THE GWINNETT COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION FUND, INC. IS TO SUSTAIN THE WORLD-CLASS STANDARDS OF GWINNETT COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS BY STRENGTHENING INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS AND PROVIDING RESOURCES AND SUPPORT TO IMPROVE THE EDUCATIONAL FUTURE OF ALL STAKEHOLDERS. A BOARD OF TRUSTEES THAT IS REPRESENTATIVE OF THE GWINNETT COMMUNITY GOVERNS THE FOUNDATION, FOSTERING THE BELIEF THAT COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN PUBLIC EDUCATION IS ESSENTIAL TO PROMOTING AN EDUCATED, HEALTHY, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENRY. THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES DIRECTS AND MANAGES THE AFFAIRS OF THE FOUNDATION AND ADOPTS THE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE BUSINESS OF THE FOUNDATION.

THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS EDUCATION IN THE FORM OF SCHOLARSHIPS TARGETED TO UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITIES ENROLLED IN THE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, MATH, BUSINESS, ECONOMICS, AND PUBLIC POLICY DISCIPLINES.

WE WORK WITH INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, CORPORATIONS AND FOUNDATIONS TO CREATE FUNDS; WE CONVENE COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP ON ISSUES VITAL TO THE REGION; WE HELP TO BUILD THE CAPACITY OF LOCAL NONPROFITS.

Promote and expand relationships and mutual understanding through educational, business and humanitarian programs between the citizens of the United States and Turkey.
